Leigh Anne Eberle

A true-blooded New Yorker, Leigh Anne received a Master Degree in Choreography and Directing from NYU.  Her creative endeavors consist of performing on stage and in films as well as behind the scenes in production.  Leigh Anne began practicing Yoga as part of her dance curriculum while at NYU, meanwhile, discovering its life long benefits and inspiring her to practice daily.  After living a hectic life in New York City and Los Angeles, moving to the Berkshires gave Leigh Anne the opportunity to pursue her teachers certification at Frog Lotus Yoga making Yoga a life long commitment and truly an integral part of her daily ritual.  This life change has granted her the serenity and calmness of mind and body that has encouraged her to help and hopefully heal others through the practice of Yoga.

Leigh Anne's style of teaching focuses on a deep study of the connections between body, breath, and spirit, blending instruction from Anusura Yoga: Principles of Alignment with Interdisciplinary Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow.  Her classes often incorporate dynamic flowing sequences to create inner heat along with held postures and partner work to facilitate alignment.  She brings a calm presence and uplifting style to encourage each student to explore him or herself more fully on all levels. 

Striving to teach from a place of compassion Leigh Anne believes Yoga is suitable for everyone and each individual can deepen oneself through meditation, breath, and the practice of asanas.  Leigh Anne’s classes focus on staying connected to the inner self with an emphasis on breathing, developing body and mind awareness, as well as, core strength, muscle tone, improved posture, balance, and inner confidence.  Leigh Anne encourages students to listen to their bodies and work in a way that feels right and safe while having fun.
