Join Jessica Bellofatto for this workshop designed specifically for anyone interested in athletic pursuits. Whether your chosen sport is tennis, gold, nbasketball, biking or surfing, the stretching and strengthening requirements are virtually identical. A strong core and back, good balance, spinal rotation, and stretching out the shoulders, hips, and legs is key to enjoying and excelling in any sport.
Jessica Bellofatto has been teaching and studying the art and science of yoga for over 17 years. She also competes in triathlons, surfs, paddlesurfs, and is an overall lover of life, especially all things physical. One of her goals as a teacher is to dispel the myth of the yogi as one who only practices seated spinal twists on a sticky mat. She aspires to take yoga off the mat, and encourage her students to discover the joy, liberation, and empowerment that comes with moving the body through space, unlocking the body's potential, strength, and healing capacity.
